For today's unboxing review we bring you the insanely awesome 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, or QV, for short. What you're about to see is literally a four-door Ferrari, and that's a very good thing. Why? Because the mighty BMW M3 has finally met its match. Not only does the Giulia QV come with Italian good looks, but it's, simply put, the better driver's car. It is the new benchmark high-performance sedan in its class. What's its secret sauce? How does a Ferrari-derived 2.9-liter bi-turbo V6 with 505 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque sound to you? We're not complaining. All of that power is routed to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic. The six-speed manual isn't offered in the US. Zero to 60 mph happens in only 3.7 seconds, 0-100 in 8.2 seconds, and a claimed top speed of 191 mph.

Our tester came with the optional Rosso Competizione Tri-Coat paint for $2,200, $500 19-inch wheels and a Harmon Kardon premium audio system for $900. But don't worry, there are tons of standard features like carbon fiber bits everywhere, dual mode quad exhaust system, and Brembo high performance brakes. We also got to experience our car's $1,200 Driver Assistance Package. But when you compare the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV's price tag to that of its current competitors, to us it's a no-brainer. This is one of the special ones. Enjoy the review!
